What this controller lacks in rigidity and style it makes up for in performance, its clunky, and boat shaped, and doesn't use the real estate available on the surface very well, but it is robust enough to have survived about 14 festivals with us getting used by every DJ who needed a controller. It has been about a year and a half since the ear acquired its house controller, the DDJ ERGO from Pioneer, it was chosen for its high quality sound card, good price and fairly extensive controls.Ī quick look at the ERGO leaves one confused, the Pioneer logo instantly attracts the attention of other DJ's and it garnered a type of attention that in my opinion was somewhat justified.
